Everything you need to fill out a PDF form

100% private — nothing uploaded

Filling happens locally in your browser using pdf-lib. Nothing is sent to a server.

Real form controls, not drawn-on text

Text boxes, checkboxes, radio buttons, and dropdowns — actual interactive controls, not typed guesses placed by eye.

Reads the form's own fields

Detects the PDF's existing AcroForm fields automatically and places each control exactly where the form's author put it.

Works across multi-page forms

Navigate between pages and fill in fields anywhere in the document before downloading.

Consistent output everywhere

Filled values are flattened into the page, so the result looks the same in any PDF viewer or printer.

Three steps to a filled-out PDF

  1. 1

    Upload your PDF form

Drag and drop a PDF onto the page, or click to browse. It needs to already have fillable fields built in — most government, HR, and application forms do.

  2. 2

    Fill in the fields

Type into text fields, check boxes, pick radio options, and choose from dropdowns — real form controls placed exactly where the form's author put them.

  3. 3

    Download your filled PDF

Click Fill PDF form — your browser bakes the values into the document instantly. Download the result, nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Is this tool free?

+

Yes, completely free with no limits. No account required.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

+

No. Everything runs in your browser using pdf-lib. Your file and everything you type into it never leave your device.

Does this work on any PDF, or only forms that are already fillable?

+

Only PDFs that already contain interactive form fields (an AcroForm) built in by whoever created the document — most tax, HR, and government forms are built this way. If your PDF doesn't have real fields, this tool will tell you and you can use Sign PDF or Annotate PDF instead to type directly onto the page.

What field types are supported?

+

Text fields (including multi-line), checkboxes, radio buttons, and dropdown/list fields.

Can I edit the values again after downloading?

+

No. Downloading flattens your entered values into the page's fixed content, the same way printing and rescanning would — the result looks identical everywhere it's opened, but the fields are no longer interactive. Keep your original PDF if you might need to fill it out differently later.

Can this tool add new fillable fields to a PDF that doesn't have any?

+

No — it fills in fields a form already has, it doesn't create new interactive fields on a document that lacks them. For adding text or a signature to a PDF with no built-in fields, use Sign PDF or Annotate PDF.

Does it support multi-page forms?

+

Yes. Navigate between pages with the page controls — fields on every page stay filled as you move around.
