Terms of Use

Last updated 2026-08-06

These terms cover your use of https://pixeltools.io, operated by PixelTools. Using the site means you accept them. They are deliberately short, because the service is simple: free tools that run in your browser, with no account.

Your files stay yours

We claim no ownership, licence or rights of any kind over the files you open with these tools, or over what you produce with them. We never receive them in the first place — see the privacy policy. You may use the output for anything, including commercially, with no attribution required.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for having the right to use the files you process. Please don’t use PixelTools to:

  • Infringe someone else’s copyright or other rights.
  • Produce material that is illegal where you are.
  • Attack the site or its users — automated abuse, attempts to break the service, or anything designed to harm other people using it.

No warranty, and why that matters here

The tools are provided “as is”, with no warranty of any kind. Not boilerplate — a practical point follows from it:

Keep your original file. Because processing happens in your browser, a crashed tab, an out-of-memory error or an unsupported file can end a job with nothing produced. We never modify your original — it stays where it is on your device — but you should not treat any tool here as the only copy of anything you care about.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PixelTools is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including lost data or lost profits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including, where applicable, your statutory rights as a consumer.

Availability

The site is free and offered without any uptime commitment. Tools may change or be withdrawn without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your own country of residence.
