Frequently asked questions
Is this image to PDF converter free?
+
Yes, completely free with no limits. Convert as many images as you want — no subscription, no credits, no account required.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
+
No. All conversion happens entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your images never leave your device — there is no server upload, no cloud processing, and no data stored anywhere.
What image formats does it support?
+
JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC (iPhone photos), BMP, and GIF. For formats that need canvas decoding (WebP, HEIC), the tool converts them to JPEG first before embedding — all done in your browser.
Can I combine multiple images into one PDF?
+
Yes. Drop as many images as you want — each one becomes a page in the PDF. Drag the thumbnails to reorder pages before converting.
What page sizes are available?
+
A4, A3, US Letter, and Legal. You can also choose 'Fit to image' which makes each PDF page exactly the size of the original image — ideal for photos where you don't want white borders.
Can I choose portrait or landscape?
+
Yes. When you select a standard page size (A4, Letter, etc.) you can switch between portrait and landscape orientation. The 'Fit to image' mode automatically matches the image's own orientation.
What does the 'Image fit' setting do?
+
Fit (default) scales the image to fill as much of the page as possible while keeping the aspect ratio — adding white borders if needed. Fill stretches the image to cover the full page. Original size uses the image's pixel dimensions at 72 dpi.
Is there a file size limit?
+
No hard limit — you can convert images up to 100 MB each. Very large files may take a few seconds to process depending on your device.
