How do I find out how long until a certain time?

What happens when the time has already passed today?

The countdown switches to the next time it happens, tomorrow. At the exact second the time is reached it restarts at 24 hours.
Does it use my time zone?

Yes. It reads your device's local clock, so it counts down to 3:30 pm where you are, not to 3:30 pm somewhere else. Daylight saving changes are handled by your device's clock.
Is the countdown accurate to the second?

It is as accurate as your device's clock. The counter recalculates from the real clock several times a second rather than counting ticks, so it does not drift if the tab is in the background.
Can I share or display the countdown?
