Everything you need to watermark images

Text and logo watermarks

Add a custom text copyright notice or upload your PNG logo. Both can be configured separately with their own size, opacity, and rotation settings.

Tile mode for maximum protection

Repeat your watermark across the entire image in a diagonal grid. Tiled watermarks cannot be removed by cropping or simple editing — the only way to clean them is to damage the image.

Live canvas preview

Every change — opacity, position, rotation, tile spacing — updates the preview instantly. Navigate between uploaded images with arrow controls to check how the watermark looks on each one.

Batch processing with ZIP download

Upload an entire photoshoot at once. Apply the same watermark to all images in a single click, then download everything as a ZIP archive.

Settings saved automatically

Your watermark text, font, position, and opacity are saved to your browser. Open the tool next session and your configuration is already there — no reconfiguring for every shoot.

100% private, nothing uploaded

Watermarking runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your images never leave your device and are never stored on any server.

Three steps to a watermarked image

  1. 1

    Upload your images

Drag and drop one or more photos onto the page, click to browse, or paste from your clipboard. Supports JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC. Add as many files as you need — they'll all get the same watermark.

  2. 2

    Configure your watermark

Type your text or upload a logo, then set the font, size, opacity, position, and rotation. Toggle tile mode to repeat the watermark across the entire image. A live preview updates instantly as you adjust any setting.

  3. 3

    Apply and download

Click Apply Watermark and your images are processed entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded. Download each image individually or grab everything as a ZIP archive.

Built for photographers and creators

Whether you're a photographer sending client proofs, an e-commerce seller protecting product photos, or a content creator adding your brand — PixelTools watermarks your images instantly, for free, without uploading them anywhere.

Photographers

Send watermarked client proofs before delivering the final gallery. Apply your logo or copyright notice to an entire shoot in seconds — and tile it so no one can crop it out.

E-commerce sellers

Protect product photos across your catalog before publishing to Etsy, Amazon, or Shopify. Batch watermarking keeps your brand consistent across hundreds of listings.

Content creators

Add your social handle or website URL to images before posting. Keep it subtle with low opacity and a corner position, or bold with tile mode for maximum visibility.

Designers and agencies

Deliver mockups and drafts to clients with a clear 'DRAFT' or studio watermark. Switch between client logos instantly using saved presets.

Frequently asked questions

Is PixelTools watermark tool free?

+

Yes, completely free with no limits. Add watermarks to as many images as you want — no subscription, no credits, no account required.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

+

No. All watermarking happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your files never leave your device — there is no server upload and no data stored anywhere.

Can I use my logo as a watermark?

+

Yes. Switch to the Logo tab, upload any PNG (transparency is preserved), then adjust the scale and opacity. Your logo is applied directly over each image at the size and position you choose.

Why is tile mode better for protecting photos?

+

A single watermark in a corner can be cropped out in seconds. Tile mode repeats your watermark across the entire image at a diagonal angle, making it impossible to remove without visibly damaging the photo — ideal for client proofs and stock image previews.

Will the watermark look the same on all images in a batch?

+

Yes. All sizes are specified as a percentage of the image width, not absolute pixels. This means a 5% font size looks proportionally identical on a 600 px thumbnail and a 6000 px high-res photo.

What formats are supported for output?

+

You can export as JPEG (with a quality slider from 60–100%) or PNG. Choose PNG if you want to preserve transparency in the original image. JPEG is smaller and works best for photos.

Are my watermark settings saved between sessions?

+

Yes. Your text, font, opacity, position, and all other settings are automatically saved to your browser's local storage. The next time you open the tool, everything is exactly as you left it.
