Is this HTML to image converter free?

Yes — free, no account, no sign-up, no watermark. Convert as many files or pasted snippets as you like. One cap to know about: extremely long pages (over roughly 10,000px tall) can't be captured as a single image.
Is my HTML uploaded to a server?

No. Rendering and image capture happen entirely in your browser.
PNG or JPG — which should I pick?

PNG for anything with text, sharp edges, or transparency needs — it's lossless. JPG gives a smaller file and is fine for photo-heavy pages where a little compression won't show.
Can I paste HTML instead of uploading a file?

Yes. Switch to the Paste HTML tab and paste any markup — a full page or a snippet — directly into the box.
Does CSS styling get applied?

Yes — inline style="..." attributes, <style> blocks, and linked stylesheets (absolute https:// URLs) are all applied when rendering, the same as a browser would show them. Each conversion runs isolated, so your CSS can't leak into or affect the rest of the page. A stylesheet linked with a relative path (e.g. href="styles.css") can't be resolved on its own — use an absolute URL or a <style> block instead.
What about images referenced in the HTML?

Images with an absolute URL (https://...) load normally if publicly accessible. Images referencing a local file path won't resolve, since only the HTML itself is provided — use a data URI or absolute URL instead.
Is JavaScript in the HTML executed?

No. Scripts are stripped before rendering for safety — this tool captures static markup and styling, not dynamic page behavior.
How wide is the captured image?

Your HTML is rendered at a fixed 1200px desktop-content width, then captured at 1.5x resolution for a crisp result. Height is whatever your content needs — the whole page becomes one image, not multiple tiles.
