PNG for anything with text, sharp edges, or transparency needs — it's lossless. JPG gives a smaller file and is fine for photo-heavy pages where a little compression won't show.
Can I paste HTML instead of uploading a file?

Does CSS styling get applied?

Inline style="..." attributes in your HTML are applied when rendering. <style> blocks and linked external stylesheets are both stripped for safety and aren't fetched — inline every rule as a style attribute for reliable results.
What about images referenced in the HTML?

Images with an absolute URL (https://...) load normally if publicly accessible. Images referencing a local file path won't resolve, since only the HTML itself is provided — use a data URI or absolute URL instead.
Is JavaScript in the HTML executed?

No. Scripts are stripped before rendering for safety — this tool captures static markup and styling, not dynamic page behavior.
How wide is the captured image?

Your HTML is rendered at a fixed 1200px desktop-content width, then captured at 1.5x resolution for a crisp result. Height is whatever your content needs — the whole page becomes one image, not multiple tiles.
