What order do I post the tiles in?

Post the lowest-numbered tile first. Instagram profile grids show your most recent post top-left, so PixelTools numbers the bottom-right tile #1 (post first) and the top-left tile last (post last) — by the time you've posted them all, the grid reads correctly on your profile.
What grid layouts are supported?

Are my images uploaded to a server?

Does splitting reduce image quality?

No. Each tile is cropped from the original image at full resolution. PNG export is pixel-perfect and lossless; JPG export uses adjustable quality (60–100%) if you want smaller files.
What image should I use for the best-looking grid?

Any image works, but for a 3×3 profile grid a square (1:1) source image splits into nine perfectly square tiles. For a 1×3 or 3×1 banner, a wide (roughly 3:1) or tall (1:3) image gives the cleanest result. PixelTools slices whatever aspect ratio you upload — it doesn't crop or resize it first.
Can I download the tiles individually instead of a ZIP?

Does this work with animated GIFs?
